Elementary
All County Festival

OCMEA's  2024 Elementary All County Festival will be held on April 24-25 at Westmoreland Central School District. The festival features student musicians in grades 5 and 6 from throughout the county. At the festival, students work with a guest conductor to prepare several pieces. The festival culminates with a concert performance for the public which benefits the OCMEA Scholarship fund. A traditional Elementary All County Festival features the following ensembles:

• String Orchestra- Giovanni Magagnoli, Orchestra Conductor: Shannon Migliore, orchestra chairperson

• Mixed Chorus- Ryan Decker, Chorus Conductor: Emily Davis, chorus chairperson

• Concert Band- Steven Russell, Conductor: Dean Abraham, band chairperson

Kristyn Cutler, general chairperson

Interested students are nominated by their teacher and reviewed by a committee where they are selected for each ensemble.
